DynaCorp Online Auctions - Terms and Conditions
Thank you for your interest in our online auction events! REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS: First, you need to register to bid. Go to the registration page put in your information then submit. You will receive an email with your bidder number and you will use the password that you created to place your bids. Then, go to the catalog and place your bids. You can also utilize the MAXBID feature where you can put in your starting bid and your highest bid and the computer will bid up to that point only if other higher bids are received. REGISTRATION DEPOSIT: DynaCorp Auctions places a hold of $1 (One Dollar) on your credit card prior to bidding in order to participate in any auction. The $1 (One Dollar) is NOT CHARGED, it is merely held by your Credit Card Company for the length of up 3 business days. The $1 (One Dollar) is authorization purposes only. You will not have charges against your account. This however may show up as a pending transaction on your account. IMPORTANT: This is an ONLINE ONLY AUCTION and has predetermined removal dates and times, NO refunds or chargeback's will be granted due to a lack of removal at the designated times. Please keep in mind that DynaCorp Auctions offers Shipping, so it is in your benefit to contact us prior to an event ending so we can assist you with shipping arrangements. BUYERS PREMIUM: A 10% buyer's premium will be added to your total purchase. PAYMENT: DynaCorp Auctions is an online only auctioneer and so forth, the primarily payment method accepted is via major Credit Cards - Visa / Master Card / Discover / American Express. Exceptionally we accept wire transfer deposits. TIME OF PAYMENT: Your credit card will be automatically charged for your full invoice amount at the conclusion of the auction. TAX: Local sales tax will be added to your Invoice USE CAUTION: It is very important you review our terms and conditions prior to bidding. We will not reverse bids at any point once it is made, no exceptions. STAGGERED CLOSING: Our system has been set to end/close 5 items per minute this unique feature will close the bidding on intervals. CLOSING EXTENSIONS: If a bid gets posted within the last three minutes of ending, our system will automatically extended the sale in 2 additional minutes. BID NOTIFICATION: If you have been outbid you will be notified by email ONLY UNTIL an hour before the event ends on the day of the auction event. While the event is ending, notices are not sent. To quickly review your bids and see if you have won you can utilize the 'review bids' feature. Items that they have been outbid on will be clearly marked. If you feel you have won an item and have not received an email please contact us immediately so we can look in our system to determine whether you were the successful bidder or not. Once the item gets picked up, you only have 24 hours to submit a claim to DynaCorp Auctions. In the event an item is not available for pickup, please contact us as soon as possible so we can look into the case accordingly. After 24 hours, DynaCorp Auctions and buyer agree that no claim will be granted and no refund will be issued. BID WITH CARE: VERY IMPORTANT! You are bidding on the described item not the photograph. Occasionally, the wrong photo might be displayed, or even a stock photo might be placed in lieu of the actual item, that is why we have the preview or inspection dates set up so bidders can make sure items are just as described. Please always read the description on your items of interest prior to placing bids. SHIPPING: Bidders may arrange shipping with the company of their choosing. However, DynaCorp Auctions is willing to make arrangements for you, please contact us for more information. Once items are released, either to winning bidder or to a third party, such as a moving company, DynaCorp Auctions does not assume any liability. WARRANTY & CONDITION OF ITEMS: All auctioned items are sold "as is, with all faults, Without Warranties or Representations, and Without Recourse." Descriptions are believed to be accurate but not guaranteed. When you are not certain of the condition or use of an item please bid accordingly. Buyers are solely responsible for inspecting items during the scheduled inspection times. REMOVAL: Bidders are responsible for their own removal. A paid invoice must be brought to site in order to remove items, no exceptions will be made. Items not picked up will be considered abandoned. Please keep in mind that anyone can remove the items on your behalf, however, the paid receipt must be presented prior to removal. NOTE: DynaCorp Auctions is entitled to resell, remove, store or abandon, at the expense and risk of the purchaser, for all unremoved items within the specific time. Buyer agrees to pay all related expenses such as; legal, collection; transportation and storage of abandoned items. CONTROVERSY: If a controversy or claim arises out of or relating to this contract and/or agreement, or breach thereof, shall be settled by arbitration in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association, and judgments upon the award rendered by the arbitrator(s) may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof. Venue will be Fairfax, County, and Virginia. LIABILITY: Liability shall be limited to the refund of bidders purchase price only. LIMITATIONS: All conditions stated above cannot and will not be altered unless with written consent by DynaCorp Auctions.
